Duke is the definition of a sweetheart! Even though he was abandoned with his blanket and sat and waited for two days on that blanket, he still loves people! This lovable cuddle bug is great with dogs of all sizes—even if they’re barking up a storm, he keeps his cool. His favorite are the little ones, and he’s especially gentle around them. Kids? He loves them too!

Duke walks beautifully on a leash (no pulling!) and prefers to sit or lay quietly at your feet. He won’t jump on you—or your furniture—even if invited. That’s just his respectful, easygoing nature.

DUKE is pure affection and has a calm, gentle presence.

His one weakness? Cats. Not in the way you might think—he’s actually scared of them! And while he needs help getting in the car, once he’s in, he rides like a champ.
